How the UK Biosciences do startupPosted 24th Jun 2015
Earlier in May, Oxbridge Biotech Roundtable, together with OneStart and SR-One were generous by sending the Business Innovation Centre (that’s us) an invitation to their awards ceremony in London on 14th May. This event gave an insight into the hard work involved in running a competition – for which the top prize was a “no strings award” of £100K. From 650 startup applications in the medical field from 50 countries, narrowed down to 1o for final selection at the dinner. The winner was Keregen, which designs selective molecules which indicate a reduction in tissue deterioration in degenerative disease. You can see some nice summaries of the finalists here.
